Reviews of Te Puia Hot Springs Hotel

Jonathan
It was a peaceful experience. Hotel was quirky, exceptional services, and it had lovely location to all beaches in the area. The staff were very amiable and the pool was clean. Restaurant food was OUTSTANDING.
Even though everything was nice, some of the staff were rather noisy.

Central heating, coffee/tea makers, and a work desk in the room and the exceptionally comfortable bed. Large bathrooms with a walk-in shower. Peaceful location in a local area short walk to a slope and restaurant and areas that are more urbanised🙂

Off the beaten track, we had a blast fishing and hunting in the breathtaking East Coast landscape. The locals taught us the best spots to reel in big catches, and the scenic views made it an unforgettable experience.
For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly activities.

Being a very small rural town food options are limited so I suggest bringing food with you

The staff are obliging, everyone. The hotel offers great location within walking distance of Te Puia downtown. It's set in a pretty nice area.

We stayed at this charming, historic hotel for a night after exploring the East Cape from Tauranga. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony to relax on. The old lead light door and elegant chandelier added to the hotel's charm. The Wi-Fi worked great, and the price was affordable. It was the perfect stop for us, and we enjoyed the hot springs as well.
Would recommend this hotel.

A great selection of lovely food at breakfast time. Exceptionally comfortable beds and thoughtful tea making facilities and a lounge. Amazing, favourable location in 4 roomed quarters. Also - not far from Gisborne as well as beaches well worth exploring.

No one around on arrival. Bar was closed.

Title: Amazing time with friends, just one small suggestion
Our only suggestion would be to have some fun activities at night for young party-goers like us. Maybe a DJ or a game room with cool party games.

The Te Puia Hot Springs Hotel is a charming historical building with a lot of character. The surrounding gardens are beautiful, and it would be even more appealing if a pathway was added for guests to explore. The hotel offers great Wi-Fi, allowing guests to stay entertained in their rooms. The hot pool is absolutely perfect for a relaxing soak.
Can't think of anything 🤷♂️
